Moving forward but something in my life is missing

Posted by Intuition Girl

Question # 2

Dear Joan Marie:

I am moving forward in my career and growing; however, I feel like something is still missing within me? I am out of balance with who I once was and who I am becoming. Can you help me to better understand what I need to do to fully step into my power and own all of who I am?

I truly am grateful for all the work you do. You are such a blessing to me in my life!

Thank you,
Suzanne D.

ANSWER

Dear Suzanne:

Thank you for your question. You are not alone; many others are experiencing the same feelings and seeking ways to better live in balance and harmony. While your career is growing and you are busy please remember that you still must take time for you, the spiritual side of you. It is so important for all of us to listen to our needs and understand what we must do to live a fulfilling life.

I feel as if you are lonely and not allowing yourself to be nurtured. Letting go is so important for all of us. Look at what you are holding onto and why? In order for us to fully embrace our true selves we must let go of the old ways that are not serving us and fully be in our truth. Spending time in nature and meditating on the scenery around you will benefit you greatly.

So many of us want to control everything in and around our lives; however, in doing this we are not allowing room for the Universe to work with and through us. What is it you are truly longing for in life? Have you made time available in your busy life to feed your soul? Are you available and open to this and do you feel worthy to enjoy its benefits?

Many Blessings,

Professional Coaching: Overcoming Career Obstacles

Posted by Intuition Girl

Question # 1

Hello Joan Marie:

I wanted to thank you for the interesting information that was presented in your “Coaching Collection” CDs. I am learning a lot and hope your advice can help me in my life.

Joan Marie, please let me know if you can get any feelings regarding a home based business I just got into recently called ACN. I am working with a man named David. I know he wants to help further me in this business, but he can be very pushy, overpowering, and difficult to work with. He doesn’t listen to what I am telling him. I really needed his help to get this one person into my ACN business, but he was intimidated by her because she was so much better than him, and I finally lost her as a potential partner.

When I discussed the situation with him, he felt he was not at fault. He did ask me how I would feel if someone came into the business who was better than me. I told him I felt it would be an answered prayer and that I would be very appreciative of any knowledge that person could share with me so I could strengthen my marketing and presentation skills.

Do you see me able to get this business off the ground with him or not at all? Am I just wasting my time and money or do I really need to get out of this business while I can? I am also looking for work as a home health nurse and wanting to take courses and obtain certification as a medical billing and coding specialist. I am sending out my resumes whenever employment makes itself available. I am on the internet, phone, or going to different companies and asking if employment is available.

I have learning disabilities which is making it even harder to stay focused and concentrate. Only God knows how hard I am trying to improve my life and find happiness.

Please let me know about David. If I am misreading him, I need to know that. Do you see me working with him presently or in the future? There is another ACN group here in Arizona I can go to, but I don’t think they will be open to coach me in this business because they have their own team to recruit and teach. I was invited to come and learn with them and have gone to a couple meetings. But I am still trying to determine if this is the right place and right business I need to be in for passive residual income. I hope that you will see that employment is coming very soon, as my savings are decreasing as we speak.

Any advice or help from your intuitive heart would be sincerely appreciated. I welcome your comments and hope you will see the best for me in the coming weeks and in 2010.

Thank you, Joan, for all your help. Here’s wishing you all the success, joy and happiness in the New Year.

Blessings, Linda B.

ANSWER

Dear Linda:

Thank you for your email. I have never heard of ACN Group so I Googled it. It appears as though it is a pyramid program and some articles do not speak favorable about it. The best thing you can do is research them- investigate them and talk to the groups you are meeting with now and see who is making money, how much; and if this company is a good partner to help you to grow and succeed.

It sounds like to me that David has a strong Ego problem and feels insecure with strong women. Having said that, he may not have been the best person to assist you. You are creating a great deal of energy fighting with him instead of producing together. I would recommend you exploring other options and if you believe in this company and its potential, call the Company headquarters and let them know you are hungry to grow but you need a teacher and mentor to get you started because you wish this to be a win/win for all parties.

I would not spend too much more money with them but I would see who is there to help you grow and make back the money you put out and more if possible.

I do see you working and I like the idea of going back to school— you are a hard and honest worker. Please remember that it is important for you right now to keep your options open and let the Universe know you want to flow. Whatever emotion is creating struggle in your life right now needs to be released so you can be in better alignment for positive flow.

Keep listening to the Coaching Collection Series. It is packed with a plethora of information. The more you listen to the various topics, the more you will grow and learn; and your own personal confidence will get stronger.

Many Blessings,

How an Intuitive Coach helps read between the Tea Leaves

Posted by Intuition Girl

Wouldn’t it be nice if we could all see into our own futures? Wouldn’t it be even nicer if we had someone cheering us on along the sidelines telling us what direction to take and how to take it? Well, in a way, that is what professional intuitive coaches do for their clients. A reputable intuitive coach will be able to streamline client goals and whip them into professional shape to create genuine and sustainable success in life without all the extra baggage that’s been carried around for way too long.

Metaphorically, reading between the tea leaves is how an expert intuition coach can provide accurate insight and wisdom in the how-to’s of manifesting goals and in achieving real life transformation. It’s not that individuals aren’t capable of improving their overall lifestyles; in fact, many of us are fairly capable of doing just that. It’s in many cases, however, where people have come to a crossroad and they’re not quite sure how to proceed; or in some cases, where individuals have so many emotional issues that their minds are clouded with negativity. That’s when an intuitive coach can help people open their minds to different thought processes and alternative perspectives.

In addition to teaching clients how to excel in areas of life that are lacking, a professional life coach can get the creative juices flowing to help individuals overcome past emotional baggage and everyday problems. There are a number of mental tools that experienced intuitive coaches use to assist clients in personal and professional development, and emotional and spiritual growth. Some of the common techniques that intuition and life coaches facilitate include NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming), Hypnotherapy, journaling, past life regression therapy, inner child retrieval and healing, meditation practice, visualization, and one-on-one intuitive counseling, among others. A number of well-known life coaches also offer a compilation of meditation CDs, self-help books, journals, and home meditation exercises intended to help in the self-healing process.

Life is quite the journey from beginning to end. And while tea leaf reading can sometimes interject a shot of excitement and anticipation in our lives, tea leaves don’t always give us the precise answers and resolutions we need to create real forward motion in our lives. That’s what an intuition coach does – she can read the proverbial writing in our mind’s eye and keep us on track toward success without all the extra additives. Leave the tea leaves for drinking, and let the professionals do their job at snapping you back into a winning position in life!

Stuck and seeking new direction!

Posted by Intuition Girl

Question 1

Hi Joan Marie:

Darling, I’m stuck! I am not feeling very empowered lately— my family is growing up fast, I have given up my job to do something different with my life and I have this nagging voice inside telling me to speak up! What about I haven’t got a clue?

I know I’m asking for a miracle here telling you my story and hoping you will reply to my email soon. I’m not barmy—I’m a middle- aged lady wanting some direction.

Warmest regard
Joanne Barber

ANSWER

Dear Joanne:

Thank you for your honest email. You are anticipating change in your life and of course patience is not always easy. May I suggest that you start writing down your feelings and be sure to include those things that you wish to speak up on. There is a big difference between yelling and being angry and frustrated as opposed to knowing who you are within and moving into your power so that you can express yourself to the best of your ability and feel empowered.

You are a great candidate for my 10- month Coaching Program. For while you grow and discover your true purpose (as you pay attention to the clues); you will also have the opportunity to receive a Certification in Professional Intuitive Life Coaching (PILC). I feel your need and desire to assist others; and what better way to serve other than to inspire those who possibly are experiencing the same disconnect as you. I am sure they would benefit from the knowledge gained by you—it first starts with you removing the blocks that bind you—from the inside out. For more information on the program you can go to: www.thegiftwithjoanmarie.com or call the office.

Many Blessings, Joan Marie the gift

Don’t eat the yellow snow! Winter tips for creative living

Posted by Intuition Girl

Remember when we were little and the older kids would tell us that we shouldn’t eat the yellow snow? Sometimes, the older we get, the wiser we get. That — and experience tells us what we should and shouldn’t do for our own sake and our own health. But there’s always that one individual that no matter how many times he’s been told to not do something, he does it anyway. Every time that individual repeats his actions, he beats his head against the wall and wonders why he did it again.

Don’t eat the yellow snow! It’s right there in front of you. You’ve been advised not to eat it. Yet you continue to eat it again and again. That’s kind of what happens when you keep repeating the same actions to acquire a different result. Stop it!

In order to achieve the best possible outcome, (besides not eating the yellow snow) one must take a long look at how she’s approaching her challenges and go beyond the norm, and go beyond the measures that she’s taken in the past. Sometimes, we have to tackle the one problem we have with different insights and ideas. It’s not that difficult; especially if you’ve digested some rather unsavory ramifications time and time again.

Winter tips for creative living

Intuition and Meditation:

Use your intuition and experience to work for you and not against you. If you’ve battled the same battles, then you’re not in the right mindset. That means that whatever thoughts are spinning in your head must be tossed to the wayside. Start fresh. Start thinking power and empowerment. Don’t become your worst own enemy by continuing to do the same negative things to achieve success and wealth in your life. Look back at your life and see what has worked and what has not worked. Hold that thought. Now, take a deep breath and relax your mind totally. Ask yourself, “What can I do to attain_____?” (Fill in the blank.) Take another breath. Close your eyes and imagine beyond all that you’ve ever thought about in your life. Go deeper. Deeper still. Where are you in your mind? What windows of opportunity do you see affront of you? Do you see any ideas that can help you achieve what it is you want to reach? If you’re not seeing them, you’re missing the ball. You have got to get right with your mind, your body, and your spirit in order to balance the creative flow and energy in your life…and in your livelihood. You don’t have to go through life eating the yellow snow and hoping it’ll taste better the next time around. You are ready to move beyond that spot, and move forward to play and enjoy the beauty and wonder of winter (and your life) to build that igloo, build that snowman, or just to frolic in the white powdery crystals that grace our view.

Listen to your inner child

Winter is the season of reflection. It is during this time that most of us take time to muse at the wonders and events of our childhoods, our relationships, our dreams, our hopes, and our futures. Now is the perfect time to grab the reigns of your sleigh, set a course for adventure, and take in the beauty that is life and what it has to offer us. You are a part of that integral fabric of nature that makes this world a much more beautiful place to be…and what you do in this life can affect your destiny in a number of positive (and negative) ways. Isn’t it time, you listened to your inner voice… your inner child to retrieve the magic of what it means to be alive and to simply be here at this moment? When you’ve taken the steps to reflect in meditation and thoughtfulness, you will rediscover that magical feeling again. And when you do, you are on the right path toward overcoming mistakes of the past to create a bright new future for yourself and for the ones you love.

Fire dancing

Ever watched a flame in your fireplace? The flames dance in rhythmic and hypnotic sync. You can hear the wooden logs crackling and hissing as the flames grow. There’s a whole lot of energy in that fireplace. So much energy, that you can feel its warmth and vibration. That’s how you need to mold your mind. Create a spark of fire in your mind and keep the flame ignited with intuitive thinking and insightful thoughts on how to move forward every step of the way. You might still run into some hiccups but that’s okay. We all do. The important thing to remember is to always keep your flame alive, and never let it be diminished by negative thinking or by re-hashing the same mistakes of the past.

PS. Please don’t eat the yellow snow
