Do you believe there is a need to change yourself?

Posted by Intuition Girl

Dear Friends,

Many of us believe that there is a need to change the world whether it be our school system, our government or the way business is performed but we fail to recognize the fact that all change starts on the inside of each one of us first.

There is an inner problem that is facing the world and until it is recognized and dealt with, we will not be able to illicit change in our world order. It is our unwillingness to slow down long enough so that we can take inventory of our own lives–our own household and see the bigger picture of where we have been, where are we going and how are we planning to get there.

PRACTICE exhibiting the same discipline on yourself that you wish to invoke on others.
Seriously! Gandhi famously put it: “We must embody the change we wish to see in the world.” If we wish to live in a society that is less violent, then we as individuals must take steps to become less violent whether in our actions or reactions to what is placed in front of us daily whether in entertainment, media or in social interactions because those negative emotions that we accuse others of possessing are being condoned by you.

Let us take our individual responsibility seriously and become the change that we wish to see in the world. Of course it won’t be easy–becoming a more conscious person never is!

Having a Responsible Voice

Posted by Intuition Girl

What are you broadcasting? How is your voice being heard? What does your voice really want to say? While all of us may not be fully aware of it, we have the power inside us to share meaningful dialog and information; and we also have the power to be destructive in the same manner.

In a world that is filled with modern conveyances and one that is rapidly changing at the speed of light, we all too often forget the basis of communication; and that is sharing worthwhile information, thoughts and ideas stemming from the greatest value of all= love. For just one moment, I want you to think about that word: LOVE. Say it aloud to yourself. Do you hear and feel how easy it is to say when it rolls off your tongue?  In fact, when you say it, it tends to calm the heart and mind.

–>What we say and how we respond in conversation and within our relationships can be either helpful or undermine our own growth — both personally and professionally.

How do you speak with others? How do you relate with others? When you are communicating with others, do you take their feelings and their circumstances into consideration? Do you assume that an individual knows what you are thinking? These are all questions you should ask yourself in your mind’s eye before entering into dialog. Many of us do this day in and day out (online and offline) in our social networks, in public, at the office and at home. We forget that the things that we say and do have consequences: one’s actions cause an equal reaction. If you berate or belittle someone with your words or deeds, otherwise meaningful communication is quickly depleted and nothing positive can come of that.

When we employ our conversation and our energies in a positive way by listening as well as conveying the messages we want people to hear and understand, we open the doorway to creativity and deeper levels of communication. In doing so, we begin to exchange positive energies that help us to grow as well as promoting growth in others. What are you doing today to responsibly expand the conversation in your world as well as enriching the lives of others?  What seeds of inspiration can you sew today?

Let me know your thoughts…I would love to hear from you today!

I am always,

When is enough, enough?

Posted by Intuition Girl

There is so much chaos, anger, jealousy and need to hurt others surfacing around the globe that it has caused me to think that it is time for each one of us to step up and say:

“Enough is enough!”

A good example to take to heart was the situation with the 33 miners in Chile who were trapped for 69 days under ground.  That could have been a catastrophic situation but it wasn’t!  Have you wondered why?  These are the simple people of the world who haven’t forgotten their basic common sense values.

It seems to me that these 33 men made a conscious decision to work together, to strengthen each other and to express concern and compassion for one another.  There was no tyranny, no fighting for food, no obvious breakdown of the individual even though I am sure, they all were faced with their own fears, concerns and sense of desperation.  My point here is that these men collectively cared for each other.

Yet every single day we see through the news and social media that individual girls and boys and men and women spend their time insulting, hurting and belittling their fellow man for their personal distorted gratification.

So again I ask you…”When is enough, enough?” When are we going to step in and claim that those who deliberately harm another are viewed as immoral, and lack decent values and principles?  I do not profess that we put them in prison or have that type of punishment because I do not believe it resolves anything.  I do believe, however that we need to step up and say, we do not condone that behavior, we will not accept it or allow it to continue and those who want to foster those negative and toxic traits should be removed from their schools, places of employment and revealed as bad examples.

No one has the right to harm another person.  We should not need laws or rules to follow…only our hearts.

We were all born as good people and we must begin to believe that we can all help each other overcome obstacles and difficult times if we work together, strengthen each other and express concern and compassion for each other.

For it is you and me, the simple people of the world, who need to remember our basic common sense values.

What are your thoughts?  I would love to hear from you.

Many Blessings,  Joan Marie

See the Rainbow in Your Life

Posted by Intuition Girl

Often times, we become so consumed with the misfortunes of life that we fail to see the rainbow that awaits us. When the brisk summer thunderstorm passes overhead, eventually the clouds clear and the brilliant sun begins to peak through… and beyond the sun’s rays and the blue skies dawns the rainbow that seals our bond with the Universal flow of energy. Its splendid array of colors gives us the sacred sign that we are not alone and that there is always a blessing that awaits us.

The rainbow in our life is the promise that our higher source offers us each and every time sorrows rain into our lives. It is the promise that there is yet another blessing surfacing for us to experience.

Have you seen the rainbow in your life? If you have not, you are clearly missing the opportunity for you to start anew. It is that colorful rainbow that allows you to rediscover the joy and love that you may have lost. It allows you to redefine the unique individual you are as you see and feel the signs of hope and new possibilities that await you. It allows you to find the inner peace that, at this moment, you lack.

Metaphorically, your rainbow can be found in nature wherever you may go: It is the bird in the tree, the butterfly perched atop a branch or maybe it circles around your head, it is the breeze whisking through your hair and touching your face, it is the laughter of a child, it is the smile on your grandma’s face, it is the hug from a friend, it is the warmth of the sun, it is the wetness from the rain – because it simply is.

From this day forward, I want you to rediscover the rainbows in your life. I promise that there are many you have missed and it is now time for you to realize that no matter where you go, what you do, who you see, what you encounter… that there is always a new perspective, a fresh beginning, a special bond between you and a higher power that you will survive, you will overcome and you will find happiness and contentment once again. See the rainbow in your life and live your promise today, tomorrow and every day.

Until we speak again, I am

Forgiveness and Healing go Hand in Hand

Posted by Intuition Girl

SPECIAL NOTICE FROM JOAN MARIE

DUE TO POPULAR DEMAND …

WE will be hosting another Forgiveness Program for 4-Weeks in July on Tuesday Nights

For those of you who couldn’t  join us before, this is your opportunity to do so now.

“God, Our Universal Source is reaching out to all of us and asking us to willingly release the poisonous emotions that paralyze us.” – Joan Marie Whelan

Yes, the emotions that hold us in bondage and chains are often the most toxic and lethal to our overall wellness.  Are you ready to make a useful change in your life? If you are, then for what are you waiting?

It is an inside job that we must all take to task and to heart. It is not as difficult as it may seem. At first, you may be thinking, “Why do I have to learn to forgive? I have done nothing wrong. It is everyone else who has hurt me in the past. Not me.”  But in fact, it is you — who have been holding onto these sad and regretful emotions that have been barring you from advancing in your life. It is you, who must choose to live in emotional freedom or live in emotional bondage.

So many of us have been hurt or abused at one time or another, either by our own hand or because of someone else. Anyone who has become a victim and that includes survivors of childhood abuse, political or military imprisonment, crime, relationships or self- abuse due to various addictions must go within and clearly decide their fate…for it is ultimately our decision that will strengthen us and bring forth our healing or it will destroy us and cause our demise.

Are you choosing to remain a victimof the small child who lost her father; the individual who was accosted years ago; the man who is still fighting the war within; the widow who lost her spouse… how much longer are you willing to hold onto your emotional wounds of the past?

It is an inside job and I want you to know that you have the mental and intuitive capacity to change your frame of mind, body and spirit – right down to your internal DNA! You have the ability to transform your thinking and your lifestyle for more positive, more productive, and more useful outcomes for you. You, brilliant you, are the master of your life and your destiny. Once you understand that you have the courage and power to forgive, you will receive a blessing: a sense of inner peace that is priceless.

That is why I am offering for the second time this 4-Week Program that will:

  • alter your life
  • bring about an awakening
  • open the door to new opportunities
  • give you practical tools to use for the rest of your life
  • revolutionize your life from the inside out
  • Give you downloadable audio of each class to re-listen to upon need

After all, it is an inside job – let me help you help yourself; and together, we can begin the transition from victim to victor!

Forgiveness is an internal process. It is not about forgetting a negative event or emotion

It is freeing—it frees one from the grip of another. If we cannot let go of our strong desire for revenge or obsession, we will never experience true healing

This program is reasonably priced and intended to give you a quick jump-start on your healing process

Classes are scheduled for every Tuesday Evening in July 6PM Pacific Time and 9 PM EST

I’m going to share my gifts and incredible life-altering program!

Don’t let another life-transforming opportunity pass you by! Isn’t your release from shame—blame or guilt worth it?
