Pride and Joy has two faces

Posted by Intuition Girl

Ironic how we may have all heard that phrase, “pride and joy”; and in some cases employed it ourselves (in reference to something or someone we love and revere). The challenge in having that pride and joy, is it can sometimes get in the way of our own success. We become so attached to a thing, a person or some event in our lives that we do not see any other new opportunities or pathways to progress to the next level.

Pride often begets complacency, which idles our movement. Now, I am not saying you should not have any pride or joy in life. In fact, I encourage you to be proud of who you are and have joy in those things that bring you happiness. What I am also telling you is the recommended dose of anything is always moderation. Remember, just like all things in life, too much of even a good thing is extreme, and can lead to negative consequences. The same holds true for those of you who might say, “I cannot live without so-and-so…” Fact is, if you are living for someone or something else, you are not living for yourself – and that is what you are missing.

Excessive pride can sometimes confine you. Too often, you can get caught up in the whole, “I can’t do this because I may lose this or that,” or “I can’t move there because I will be away from _____________fill in the blank.” There are opportunities in life that beg you to take full advantage, but because you are so focused on someone else or something else, you become paralyzed in the “what if’s” and the “I cant’s”. Do not become that person. Do not rehash all the things that you could potentially “lose” or all the things that may or may not be. Remember, you cannot control external circumstances, but you have the power to choose your destiny. Are you up for the challenge?

Despite what you have been brought up to think or believe, you are still the leader of your life. You have the choice and the power to decide your outcome. If you are holding yourself back because of an overwhelming sense of pride, you need to rethink your actions and behavior. Pride can be like a powerful drug. Once you are addicted to that feeling associated with a person, place or thing, you can easily miss open doors to new and positive opportunities. Do not get caught up in your own web of feelings.

How to get there…

If you are proud of your accomplishments and you enjoy your life just the way it is, then perhaps this message is not for you. But if you are stuck in a repetitive lifestyle and you seem to be going backward or in circles, then heed this: Open your eyes and open your mind. Raise your awareness through meditation or prayer so that you can begin to see the potentiality that exists around you. Know that pride can be an awesome feeling, but it takes a humbling experience to truly see the possibilities that surround you.

Creating Inner Peace through Acceptance

Posted by Intuition Girl

Have you found inner peace in your life? It is sometimes difficult to focus on all the positive blessings in our lives when we can’t see the forest from the trees. We find that the bus-i-ness in our daily schedules, and sometimes unforeseen circumstances and sorrows overwhelm us to the point that inner peace is nowhere to be found.

Someone once said, “Everything is as it should be.” Change is inevitable – and when we learn acceptance to the changes in the world around us, we learn to move more freely within its infinite boundaries. We become part of the essential flow of the universe, and subsequently, we learn that inner peace is what we make it.

Finding inner peace means that you’ve decided to look beyond the imperfections of life, and have initiated a conscious effort to create your own happiness in what life hands you. Making lemonade out of lemons – going with the flow, that’s how you have to view every day. Instead of constantly seeing the glass half-empty, you begin seeing the potential of its fullness; and suddenly, inner peace lives within your very being. You no longer stand in fear of what tomorrow may bring – you greet each day with a new vision, and a recharged perception of the moment of now.

Everything truly is as it should be, and no matter what today brings you – acceptance allows you to embrace every minute with resolve. Worrying about a situation or event will only beget negative energy as it pushes you further into a state of panic and stress. Focus on your presence as the core of your emotions. Do you really need to fret so much about what has not yet happened or what has happened in the past? Live in the NOW of your positive energy and begin to feel the difference within your nervous system. Don’t wait for happiness to come to you when you already possess the keys to living with inner peace. Put these thoughts into practice and soon you will feel the difference.

Manifesting Your Dreams during Crisis

4 Tips to Preserving Your Livelihood and Manifesting Wealth

Today’s economic and credit crunch has driven some individuals to the brink of bankruptcy and sadly, even suicide. However, if some of these individuals had only taken the time to listen to their intuition and had strategically planned their outcomes, they may not have ended up in the situations they did. I want you to succeed, as does your Higher Source. You were created to be a unique and powerful human being, who can achieve any thing if you only have enough faith to do so.

It’s always a good idea to let go and let god. It’s not an arduous task, really. It’s simply turning over the wheel so that your higher consciousness can guide you in the appropriate direction. Too many times, people have control issues and don’t want to let others, especially a spiritual force lead their lives. It puts a cramp in their style. “I don’t need someone else telling me what to do or guide me in a specific direction,” they say. It’s not about having someone or a Higher Power “telling you what to do,” It’s more or less about allowing your inner wisdom to lead you. Your inner wisdom, by the way, is directly connected to the Universal flow of energy, which is an essential part of your Higher Consciousness.

To understand how all of this comes into play in manifesting your life dreams, you need look no further than your intuition so you can maintain your livelihood and create the lifestyle you want to lead.

Here are four tips to doing just that:

1. Listen to your gut feelings. If something doesn’t appear right to you, or your gut is telling you to move forward, then analyze the situation and proceed. Either way you go, you have at least taken the time to really listen to your inner wisdom. When you listen to your intuition, it helps you to stay focused in order to succeed.

2. Learn self-discipline. In order to create an extraordinary lifestyle, you have to become proactive in the role of your personal and professional growth. That means you must practice courage, discipline, and enthusiasm to gain wealth freedom and to achieve prosperity in all aspects of your life.

3. Define your intentions and create your mind map. Defining your intentions means that you need to really take note of what it is you want to attain in life. If you truly want to manifest your life dreams, you have to know what it is you are seeking. If you desire a new career, a life partner, a family, or maybe you just want to achieve inner peace in your life – whatever you define your goals to be are your intentions. When you have intentions, these are going to become part of the mind map of what you want to create in your life.

Your mind map can be sketched on a yellow sticky note, a journal, or on a spiral notebook. You don’t have to be an artist, but you do need some crayons, a pencil, markers, or a pen – no matter, you pick. What’s important is knowing what your intentions are, and drawing out ways to accomplish your intentions. For example, if your ultimate goal is simply leading a happy, fulfilling life – draw out items that you equate with being happy. Remember, you don’t have to be a Michelangelo – just simple artwork like $$ symbols, squares and triangles (for homes), female or male stick figures will do, too. Draw lines to the central part of your mind map to connect all of these wonderful things, feelings, places, and even words to create your personal mind map. Now that you’ve defined your intentions and created your mind map, the next step is to…

4. Design your strategic vision action plan. As a part of the Manifestation Method, the strategic vision action plan helps you to acquire financial freedom in your life. This unique plan was created to help you align your thoughts with the correct action plan and your mind map to achieve positive results you want in life. By using this innovative strategic vision action plan, you will suddenly begin to see your wealth begin to overflow. And when I say wealth, I mean wealth in a broader sense – wealth in finances, wealth in health, wealth in happiness, wealth in relationships, etc.

You see, you can still manifest your dreams during a crisis. You just have to have the right set of mind tools and the right mindset to get you on your way. The rest is up to you!

Transformation starts with Changing your Thoughts

Posted by Intuition Girl

Do you think it is acceptable to hurt, insult or injure someone personally or even professionally? Is your response, “No, not me”? It is very painless to say something or do something mean-spirited without thinking about the repercussions of our actions. But these painless statements or actions can often become extremely painful to others. Sometimes we say or do things in the heat of the moment. Perhaps something did not quite work out as planned or maybe something is not going the way you want it to go, and without giving aforethought, you spontaneously lash out at someone. As members of the human race, some of us lack the proper character to think before we act and our words and actions as a result, have become overshadowed by our carelessness.

When I was growing up, I was taught that if I do not have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all. Now is the time to stop passing judgment on other’s behavior and start focusing on how you can make a positive impact in the world. None of us are perfect and believe it or not, we all have flaws. When you begin to accept accountability of your behavior by changing your thinking and reactions, you will ultimately change your life in dynamic and positive ways.

In order to achieve harmony and happiness in your life, you must realize that it is imperative to always treat others as you would like to be treated. There is such an incredible sense of inner peace when you hold others in a state of acceptance. As you accept and respect others as you would hope to be, you begin to live in a healthy and steady reflective state of one another. I have said in one of my inspirational messages that we are merely a reflection of each other; so if we discover certain emotions like anger or contempt, I strongly suggest that you look in the mirror and see what it is inside of you that has triggered your reaction because that situation is simply a mirror of what you need to work on.

In fact, one of my meditation exercises encourages you to do exactly that. For a few minutes every day, peer into your reflection and ask yourself, “How am I going to shape my day today?” Notice that you are asking your Self how you are going to shape your day. Once you feel comfortable with your Soul Being (your Inner Self), you discover that you can not only become a positive reflection to others but a beacon of light to those who need a spark of creativity, encouragement or just a sense of comfort. It is amazing what incredible human beings we can become when we challenge ourselves to be the best that we can be.
