3 Tips to Achieving Inner Peace & Personal Growth

Posted by Intuition Girl

childthinkingWho say’s you can’t have it all? When you take the time to realize your human potential, you can truly manifest happiness and prosperity in all areas of your life – and that, my friends, is how you discover inner peace. But in order to achieve inner peace in your life, you must first transform your way of thinking to begin the spiritual growth and personal growth process. Don’t know how to do this?  Follow these three, simple tips to achieving inner peace and you may just be surprised at the outcome you provide for yourself:

1.    Balance. Life is a delicate balancing act.  If you lean too far to the right or left, you may fall.  But if you use the right measurement of balance, you discover that you are capable of just about anything. How do you get yourself back into balance?  The first important step is to figure out which goals are most important in your life.  You can only achieve inner peace when your mind is not scattered everywhere. Focus on one or two goals you’d like to manifest in your life.  I’m not saying you should throw away all your other goals, but you need to take baby steps before you can walk…remember the balancing act? It’s a lot easier to perform one or two tasks at a time to get the ball rolling in the right direction.  After each level of accomplishment, you gain more momentum to keep moving higher up the goal chart.  It’s all a matter of tenacity — which leads me to the next point:

Do what You Love so You can Love what You do

Posted by Intuition Girl

findingrightdirectionThere are often times in our lives when we reflect on all the things we “could have done” or “should have done” because there’s an emptiness that we begin to harbor when we’re not in the career or line of work we’d choose to be.  Easier said than done, eh?  Well, that really depends on how badly you want to create the life you’d like to lead.  We do, after all, only have one life experience at a time, and if we’re not doing what we love, we can’t possibly realize the love that is all around us.

We must do what we love so we can love what we do.  Even if you’re in an occupation that you really don’t wish to be, you have to find the bright side of the situation so you can find the enjoyment in it.  Do what?  Yes, even in the best and brightest professions, there will be circumstances that may make one feel inadequate or frustrated – that’s perfectly normal in any career.  The difference between many of these professions is that individuals have learned how to “go with the flow” of the experience, learn from it, and move on – that’s acceptance.

“But I hate this job,” you say? What is it about the job you dislike?  Is it the workload?  Is it your relationship with coworkers?  Is it lacking personal satisfaction?  Insufficient pay?  If every grave digger, sanitation worker, short-order cook, doctor, nurse, law enforcement officer, and cab driver decided that they just weren’t “satisfied” with their work, imagine where we might be.  Certainly these valuable members of society have their ups and downs in their careers, but they find the joy in providing essential services to others.  Even when their days aren’t perfect, they manage to see the light at the end of the tunnel by reflecting on what they are doing for others.

Did you know that even the slightest interaction you have with others could make a life-changing impact in that individual’s life?  It’s true.  And did you also know that when you find love in what you do, your job becomes an easier task to perform, and you begin receiving blessings that before may have not been as transparent. When we work in love in spite of the doldrums that we sometimes encounter, we discover new opportunities that suddenly transform right before our eyes.  It’s not magic, though.  It’s a simple calculation of creating and designing the lives that we want to live by leading each day with a renewed sense of hope, a renewed zest for life, and a renewed sense of self pride and worth.  Surprise yourself when you work in love, and rediscover the passion that will drive you to prosperity.

Mom’s Intuition: the Cornerstone to Family Balance

Posted by Intuition Girl

Moms are intuitive beings.

Guys, it’s really nothing personal, but Moms are the leaders of the pack when it comes to achieving peace and harmony on the home front. Remember when Mom said things like “I’ve got eyes in the back of my head”? Though she may not physically have eyes in the back of her head, Mom has the unique ability to hone in on her sixth sense or gut instinct to know when something is wrong.  And like most women’s intuition, she has the keen sense of foresight to know what might be coming around the bend in the near future.

Women unknowingly rely on their “third eye” to see clearly and more efficiently with regards to matters of the heart.  Their infallible inner wisdom typically takes over whenever children and other relationships are involved.  While there may be a number of reasons why women’s intuition is so high, we certainly can’t rule out the fact that women carry infants in the womb for roughly nine months.  It’s this innate connection to this tiny life force that enables women to “feel” or “sense” their babies – and for some women, even at the point of conception.

Happy Mother's Day!Women’s intuition is the resilient force that generally keeps family bonds strengthened.  She “knows” when something has happened with her child…often without seeing or hearing about the event.  When her spouse has a problem, she’s the first one to ask, “What’s wrong?” It’s not because she’s gotten good at “keeping tabs” on her family – it’s just the way it is.  She is so in touch with her higher consciousness that she is able to “read” people; and consequently, better able to deal with crisis as they occur. 3 Tips to Become a Winner in Life

Posted by Intuition Girl

“You cannot fix what is wrong on the outside if you do not know how to fix what is wrong on the inside. When my students learned how to heal from their past emotions, everything started to flow more fluidly –they were able to take charge over their story and direct its course; and you will be able to achieve that result too! ”

In addition to using a number of personal growth tools like the Manifestation Method, I want you to focus on the above statement.  One of the many reasons why individuals seemingly fail in life is not because they’ve “failed;” but because they’ve become so used to negative emotions that they believe it’s perfectly normal to live in a negative state of mind.  This could not be further from the truth.  You have a destiny to fulfill, and the Universal flow of energy wants to put you in perfect alignment with what you are supposed to accomplish in life — but you can only fulfill your life purpose if you’re emotionally, mentally, and spiritually prepared to accept your rightful place in the universe.  I’m routing for your success, so I’m offering you three tips that can help you to succeed and become a winner in life:

1. Set your goals. I can’t stress this enough.  Whatever it is you’re trying to reach in life, I want you to visualize it and see it through.  For instance, a friend of mine takes daily walks.  Though the distance seems great from afar, she sees the water tower as her destination point.  The whole time she is walking, she paces herself and keeps her eye on the water tower.  By keeping her eye on her destination point, she doesn’t succumb to the “oh, it’s too far away,” mindset.  She focuses in on it, and she keeps going until she’s made it there.  That’s the same way you need to view and achieve your goal.  It may not be directly affront of you, but it does exist.  This means that the potential for success is clearly in view; but you must keep your eye on the ball before you can reach it.

2. Use your intuition.
You must distinguish your personal and professional life to jumpstart your future.  If you know what your goals are in both planes of view, you can establish a level playing field to create momentum and acquire real substance in your life.  Make sure you use your intuition to discover what it is you really want to attain in life — because when you do, you’re able to toss out the junk thoughts and maneuver your way toward the best plan of action to achieve your goals. This means you need to meditate on your life as a whole. It’s equally important to meditate on your relationship with yourself first.  By getting in touch and falling in love with your intuitive soul, you create a mutual flow of positive energy that you not only emit but are able to receive.  The more you meditate, the more powerful your inner wisdom becomes. This enables you to clear the clutter from your mind and channel harmony back into your life.

3. Turn walls into stepping stones. Personal growth and professional growth come at a cost.  That cost is comprised of the life lessons we are sometimes forced to learn…even if we may not always agree with them at the time. To become a winner in life, you must use every angle to your advantage.  And yes, that means you need to look at every thing that comes your way as an opportunity.  Challenges are presented to us so that we can learn and grow.  We may not immediately view these proverbial walls or roadblocks as openings for success; however, hindsight is always 20/20, and we often discover that these challenges are in fact ways to advance and become a winner in life.

Every man and woman has the opportunity to create success and become a winner in life.  How you proceed in life is just as important as waking up every morning.  Every day, when you arise, I want you to say aloud: “I am a winner and success becomes me.”  When you meditate daily on becoming a winner, you start to think, speak, and act like one.  It’s really not rocket science, but it does require commitment from you.  Are you dedicated enough to become a winner in your life?

Gut Instinct Global Twitter Event

Joan Marie Whelan to Host Interactive International #GI Twitter Event

STOP THE PRESSES!

When’s the last time you had a “GI” checkup? What I’m talking about is pure, unadulterated “Gut Instinct.”  We all have it, but we don’t always use it wisely.  We hear it, but we don’t listen to it.  We feel it, but we don’t put it to good use.  We see it, but we close our eyes. That’s why I, Intuition Girl — along with social media guru, CarolAnnB, are going to be hosting the first-ever, interactive and International #GI event on twitter! I want to talk with you, one-on-one, on how to successfully use your GI to unleash your true entrepreneurial spirit during these tough economic times.  It’s up to you to decide whether or not you succeed in life.  No one has tied invisible chains around you.  I promise you that when you are ready to accept the blessings of the Universe, that you will be willing, ready, and able to create the positive and productive lifestyle that you are intended to lead.

Your intuitive wisdom (GI) is nothing short from a goldmine when you facilitate it to create real, material wealth in your life. And believe me, there is material wealth all around you — in your home, your family, your friends, your work, and with all those who connect with you on higher levels of energetic intuitiveness.  Like you, I’ve been watching the world react as this global economic crisis has infiltrated all walks of life. Subsequently, I’ve noticed how many individuals have reacted to this crisis — some have found reserves in strength and creativity they never thought they had, while others have dwindled to the wayside. That’s the power of an economic crisis — it can weed out the weak, and usher in the empowered.  You too, can be empowered during these tough financial times; but it depends on whether or not you know how to create momentum in your life when your GI starts talking to you. Are you listening to it?

Next, I want to hear your side of the story. How has this economic environment impacted you; and more importantly, what is your gut instinct telling you to do to overcome this temporary hurdle?  Remember, there are no absolutes and no accidents in life.  We flow in the synchronicity of the Universal flow of energy. Whatever happens in life — whether internally or externally — it happens to help us develop into true spiritual beings, who can discover inner peace and wisdom to grow and prosper. This upcoming GI event on Twitteris designed with you in mind. Allow me, Joan Marie Whelan, to make a difference in how you view the world around you; and how to hone in on your GI so you can transform your life into one worth living and loving.  You are all so special to me, and for that, I am grateful.

Please confirm your attendance at the Interactive International #GI Twitter Event planned for Thursday, May 21 @ 8-9pm EST by leaving a brief comment (or question you’d like to see addressed) on this blog post.  I look forward to speaking with you and helping you to create the life you’re destined to live by unleashing your entrepreneurial spirit!
