Sowing the Seeds of Success

In the pop hit, Sowing the Seeds of Love, the lyrics talk about how “anything is possible when you’re sowing the seeds of love”. Did you know that when you sow the seeds of love, you are also sowing your own seeds to success? How so, you ask? There is a direct correlation and response in how you feel, in what you project, and in what you receive in life. When you love yourself and accept yourself for the person you are, the easier it becomes to have satisfaction in all of your relationships – relationships with friends, family, coworkers, finances, partnerships, and more. What I mean by that is that everything is connected to everything: when you are at peace with yourself, you are better emotionally equipped to manage whatever the Universe sends your way.
Drew Barrymore once said, “Happy people are beautiful.” What a profound and true statement! The happier you are, the more you project love and life to the outside world around you. That is also what makes you positively attractive to what the Universe has to offer you – and to everything that is the object of your desires. Happy people, in my opinion, are those who are willing to accept themselves despite their idiosyncrasies. Happy people do not focus on past hurts, nor do they concentrate on everything that might not be perfect about themselves or their lives. Instead, they find light and enlightenment in the events, people or things that have shaped them into who they are today.
Remember earlier when I said that there is a direct correlation between how you feel, what you project and what you receive in life? This is absolutely the truth. In order to be happy, you must become happy with who you are. Once you accept yourself and the package deal that comes with you (your emotional baggage), you will find that life, with all its challenges, will not nearly be as difficult as you once perceived it to be. When YOU begin to acknowledge the beauty and blessings in the small things in each and every day, you begin to discover open doors to opportunity and to others, who will mutually benefit you and your needs. This will help you to sow the seeds of success in all of your relationships and your endeavors. I know. It is always easier said than done, but if you truly make a commitment with yourself to be more than just ordinary – to become extraordinary, you may just surprise yourself with the results!
