The same holds true to those of you who have struggled throughout your life because of missed opportunities. You work hard day in and day out; and by the end of the year, you look back and wonder where all your money has gone, where the time has gone or perhaps why things keep happening to you over and over again.  I promise that misfortune is not out to get you. What is happening, however, is the fact that you have locked away your niche and are not using it to your best potentiality.  A good example of that is in one of my past clients. As the proverbial “starving artist”, he had worked retail management jobs for the better part of his life until he wanted to make a full-time career out of his “hobby” of painting beautiful structures on canvas. “I want to be a renowned artist like Michelangelo or Picasso,” he said. His satisfaction came from the recognition of his artwork. By the time he completed my one-on-one intuitive coaching program, he had discovered his niche. He was ready to take his ability to the next level, but it was not nearly what he thought it would be.  Let’s call him Mr. Smith… Mr. Smith decided to take night classes to finish his degree in the arts and became a teacher where he now teaches architecture and landscaping. Not only is he recognized for the great work that he does with these young adults in the community, he also gets to show others how to facilitate their own gifts to create their own useful works of art.

Of course, Mr. Smith is just one case. There are countless others, who have turned one, two or even numerous gifts into something useful, joyful and gratifying in their lives. Like Mr. Smith, they possess a unique niche but have neither discovered their gifts, nor have they sought other avenues to further their prospects with those gifts. Sometimes individuals become so focused on an idea that they do not see other paths they can take to fulfill their life dreams. This also applies to acquiring things and even people in your lives. Maybe you are trying to get the house you always wanted but it’s just not happening fast enough for you. It seems like everything is working against you to finally settle into your new abode. Or perhaps you are like Elliot Richards in the film “Bedazzled” (played by Brendan Fraser). You are trying so hard to get the love of your life that you lose sight of what might just be right around the corner for you.  From this moment on, I do not want you to focus so much on trying to get everything at once, or just get one thing – rather, I want you to say to yourself: “Everything is as it should be.” Remember, all things happen in life to help us to grow emotionally, mentally, spiritually and even professionally. When you learn to let go and let God, or simply allow the flow of the Universal Energy to guide your life, you unexpectedly will discover the niche you were intended to use and how to use it to fulfill your life’s purpose. J

Half the struggles in life are about learning how to choose your battles wisely and to remain vigilant and persistent in doing so. The winning strategy here is not to “win the proverbial war,” but to win at what you do best and not give up in the act. Margaret Thatcher once said that you may have to fight the battle more than once to win it, and that is not only a challenge to you, but a fact in life. I cannot begin to imagine how many wonderful feats would not have been accomplished had it not been for the tenacity and determination of those talented individuals who created some of the lackluster tools that we now take for granted. Alexander Graham Bell could never have fathomed the routine use of his telephone, nor could he have ever foreseen the branches it would take in its expansion toward wireless communications. But it was his struggle to create something new and innovative that led to what we have today. It did not happen overnight, and it was not an easy feat – but his vigilance and persistence paid off in the end.

Another fine example of overcoming failures to live a purpose-filled life was a teacher by the name of Anne Sullivan. Had Sullivan ever conceded to her misgivings of trying to teach a deaf and blind girl, there never would have been such an inspirational story of going against all odds to do the seemingly impossible…but she did. Sullivan was convinced to use persistence and willpower to help develop one of the fondest motivational and heart-touching stories of all time: Helen Keller; who subsequently went on to writing and publishing 12 books, among pursuing several other lifeworks.

Of course there are many other success stories throughout the course of history. I would not have enough days in a lifetime to tell you about those who went on to overcome failures to succeed at what they did best.

What does failing in life mean to you? Have you given up on trying to succeed or have you lost one battle to fight yet another one? We live to fight another day and that is the importance of vitality. If we no longer have reason to rise above the human condition and circumstance, then we have not begun to live at all. My challenge to you is to look within yourself to discover your hidden talents so that you too, can manifest prosperity, happiness and a purpose-filled life. Failure is not a curse word, but a blessing in disguise. It is through failure that we learn to humble ourselves. It is through failure that we learn what not to do and what precisely it is we need to do in order to succeed. Failure is in virtue, the defining thread of life that enables us to see our shortcomings and discover our potentiality.

If you believe that you will fail, surely that will be the case. But the same holds true for those who believe that they will succeed. When you plant the seed of fortune in your mind and spirit, you begin to manifest blessings that have long awaited you. As we grow, we learn from our mistakes. In Walt Disney’s “The Lion King,” Rafiki swats Simba on the head with a stick. He then says to the young lion cub that the past can hurt, but that he can either run from it or learn from it. In order to conquer your future, you must first forgive yourself and release your past. Learn from your failures and move forward with your head held high and with persistence and determination in your heart. You too, can manifest a prosperous and joy-filled life once you understand that past failures are not for you to carry, but from which to learn and to discover the true essence of you and who you intend to be.

There are no real “failures” in life, after all – only valuable lessons to be learned. How we perceive our disappointments is half the work. How we react to them is the harder part of the lesson. Do you continue to struggle in your day to day routines because of past failures? It is time for you to let go of those old wounds and hurts. It is time for you to re-evaluate the choices that you have made so that you can make the right choices from this moment forward. You can no longer fail in life because as long as you never quit, you are destined for success…and that, my friends, you can take to the bank.

What actions have you determined are necessities in your life to keep you on track? If you’re pining for the straight and narrow path to success, then you must know that in order to achieve the affluence you so desire, you must love yourself first and be consistent in every one of your efforts. A few questions you must ask yourself are:

1. What is it that I really want in life?
2. How am I going to acquire these wants?
3. How much passion am I going to put behind my goals?
4. What steps do I need to take in order to achieve these goals?
5. How much time am I willing to take to get the things I want?

After you’ve considered these questions, I want you to take out a pen and paper, your laptop keyboard, or whatever else you have at your disposal and begin to jot down ideas and thoughts resolving these questions.

Sometimes, we have to make small sacrifices to create a clear passage to the lives we want to lead. While we might like owning that high-maintenance SUV; the payments might be killing us financially. Or, we’ve put several years’ time into a work position only to stay in the same spot. Are you staying in a negative personal relationship because you’ve become accustomed to arguing? Have you seen the writing on the wall?  That doesn’t mean you should allow your vehicle to get repossessed, that you should walk out of your relationship, or just outright quit your job because you’re not going anywhere. What it does mean is that you need to re-evaluate your state of affairs, and start using the tools that are available to you to make the best out of a lagging or negative situation. You are, after all, in control of your emotions and your actions. And if you are not—Why not? You cannot control the people around you. But you can control yourself…or better said, you can become the leader of your life—if that is your choice!

That being said, you must determine the necessary actions and efforts to keep your life on track. For example, if you are in a “terrible job”, you need to ask yourself if it is in fact the job that is terrible, or is it the feelings that you associate with the job that give it the appearance of being terrible. When you figure that out, that’s when you can decide what path you need to take in order to acquire a better position…or perhaps, become an entrepreneur in your own field to create real value in your life. The same holds true in relationships – both personal and professional. Relationships, just like working positions, take time, sacrifice, effort, labor, love, and communication skills. What are you doing in your life to heighten your potential and efficacy in creating and sustaining healthy bonds? And this is also spot on with professional relationships – how do you view the work you do? Would you “hire you” again? Would you want “you” working for yourself?  Think about it. Are you creating your own problems at work?

Beyond work and personal relationships, finances (or lack thereof) often take center stage on the emotional baggage train. Do any of these hypothetical statements apply to you?

• “I can’t go to the gym because I can’t afford it.”
• “I can’t take a vacation because I don’t have the money.”
• “I’d love to take you to that restaurant, but it’s too expensive.”
• “How I wish I could buy a house, but times are tough.”
• “How can Jim (or fill in the blank) afford such a nice car?”
• “I’d like to have children, but I can barely afford to pay my own bills.”
• “I’m just not lucky like that other guy.”

More than likely, we’ve all encountered one or more of the above situations.  And when we are honest with ourselves–it’s uncomfortable, too. Especially when someone asks you to accompany him (or her) and you begin concocting lame excuses as to why you can’t go. And envy is even worse. No matter how successful we become in life, someone, somewhere is going to have something bigger, better, and more expensive than you. That’s a fact. But, the good news is that you don’t have to “keep up with the Jones.” You just have to keep up with yourself – that’s it. Every action has an equal reaction. For instance, if you have made the active decision to pursue a higher position at work, what must you do to attain it? If you simply “want” the position, and do nothing to acquire it, then you will remain exactly where you are. Wanting something and doing something for that want are two entirely different means to an end: one is inaction (indecision) and the other is action (decision). How is your supervisor going to know that you want a particular position? She can’t always read your mind. Likewise, if you’ve been performing “just enough” or “not enough” at work, do you really deserve the position?

Do you have what it takes? Yes! Almost every individual has the mental, physical, emotional, and psychological capacity to achieve their hearts’ desires; unfortunately, they don’t always do it because of indecision, inaction, and complacency. We get comfortable in all of our relationships, much like we do in our own tennis shoes. We tend to overlook the holes, the wear and tear, the rips, the shredded laces…because they feel good on our feet. Eventually, our feet get soaked from the mud puddles that we sometimes have to walk through.  Even track stars have to change shoes every now and then to maintain a proper balance and performance. Like it or not, we have to toss the old shoes and buy new ones that fit us and serve us better so that the paths on which we walk will benefit us. Which path do you choose to walk upon? What sacrifices are you willing to make to create forward motion? What choices are you making for you today to promise a wealthy and happy tomorrow?

It’s always a good idea to let go and let god. It’s not an arduous task, really. It’s simply turning over the wheel so that your higher consciousness can guide you in the appropriate direction. Too many times, people have control issues and don’t want to let others, especially a spiritual force lead their lives. It puts a cramp in their style. “I don’t need someone else telling me what to do or guide me in a specific direction,” they say. It’s not about having someone or a Higher Power “telling you what to do,” It’s more or less about allowing your inner wisdom to lead you. Your inner wisdom, by the way, is directly connected to the Universal flow of energy, which is an essential part of your Higher Consciousness.

To understand how all of this comes into play in manifesting your life dreams, you need look no further than your intuition so you can maintain your livelihood and create the lifestyle you want to lead.

Here are four tips to doing just that:

1. Listen to your gut feelings. If something doesn’t appear right to you, or your gut is telling you to move forward, then analyze the situation and proceed. Either way you go, you have at least taken the time to really listen to your inner wisdom. When you listen to your intuition, it helps you to stay focused in order to succeed.

2. Learn self-discipline. In order to create an extraordinary lifestyle, you have to become proactive in the role of your personal and professional growth. That means you must practice courage, discipline, and enthusiasm to gain wealth freedom and to achieve prosperity in all aspects of your life.

3. Define your intentions and create your mind map. Defining your intentions means that you need to really take note of what it is you want to attain in life. If you truly want to manifest your life dreams, you have to know what it is you are seeking. If you desire a new career, a life partner, a family, or maybe you just want to achieve inner peace in your life – whatever you define your goals to be are your intentions. When you have intentions, these are going to become part of the mind map of what you want to create in your life.

Your mind map can be sketched on a yellow sticky note, a journal, or on a spiral notebook. You don’t have to be an artist, but you do need some crayons, a pencil, markers, or a pen – no matter, you pick. What’s important is knowing what your intentions are, and drawing out ways to accomplish your intentions. For example, if your ultimate goal is simply leading a happy, fulfilling life – draw out items that you equate with being happy. Remember, you don’t have to be a Michelangelo – just simple artwork like $$ symbols, squares and triangles (for homes), female or male stick figures will do, too. Draw lines to the central part of your mind map to connect all of these wonderful things, feelings, places, and even words to create your personal mind map. Now that you’ve defined your intentions and created your mind map, the next step is to…

4. Design your strategic vision action plan. As a part of the Manifestation Method, the strategic vision action plan helps you to acquire financial freedom in your life. This unique plan was created to help you align your thoughts with the correct action plan and your mind map to achieve positive results you want in life. By using this innovative strategic vision action plan, you will suddenly begin to see your wealth begin to overflow. And when I say wealth, I mean wealth in a broader sense – wealth in finances, wealth in health, wealth in happiness, wealth in relationships, etc.

You see, you can still manifest your dreams during a crisis. You just have to have the right set of mind tools and the right mindset to get you on your way. The rest is up to you!

Sound far-fetched? Well, to some, prosperity may seem out of reach…success, happiness, love…but is it really?  Let’s go back to the first adage I wrote about in the first paragraph, “Everything you do comes back 10-fold to you.”  You will remember me saying that it makes no difference whether or not you believe in the Law of Karma…but, believing it and living it are two entirely different things.  In the Manifestation Method, you become one not only with yourself and your intuitive desire to succeed, but you also become one with the world around you…your relationships with others…and your love of life is taken to a much higher and deeper level of consciousness.

Living the life in the Law of Attraction is a fun and exciting way to experience life through a new pair of eyes, a renewed heart, and a revitalized soul.  In the Manifestation Method, you begin to understand what it is to become child-like again; having a renewed sense of hope, a renewed sense of drive and inspiration…and then the magic begins to unfold right before your very eyes.  Yes, manifesting happiness and prosperity begins with you and your Divine self…and it begins with you remembering that whatever you do will come back 10-fold to you.

It is important, too, to remember that living the karmic life means that whatever you do will indeed come back to you - but that goes both ways.  If you have negative thoughts and emit negative energy and emotions, you will attract the same.  On the upside of this phenomenal lifestyle is the fact that when you have positive thoughts, and you emit positive energy and emotions, the same will come to you in more ways than just one.  Let me explain…in the Manifestation Method, you learn how to harness positive energy and use it in most beneficial ways.  But it’s not just you who benefits; those around you will begin seeing the new and improved you; the more confident you; the happier you; the more Divine you.  When you reach this level of heightened awareness, you will have become fully awakened to all the light and love that surrounds you.

Imagine where this great nation of ours would be if it weren’t for creative folks like Thomas Edison who, though deaf, always thought in imaginative and positive ways.  He said, “Many of life’s failures are experienced by people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up.”  If you’re not investing in yourself to create the life you want to live, then you have indeed given up.  When you become an active participant in the Manifestation Method, you learn how to empower your intuition and innate consciousness to love and be loved in a most beautiful and magical way.

Manifesting Wealth by Investing in Yourself

What resources, you ask? Each and every one of us has more resources than we could ever imagine. To begin with, we all have a level of mental intelligence that allows us to look at situations with a logical perspective. But, we also have spiritual and emotional intellect that enables us to see beyond the impeding object or circumstance.

When we channel our intuitive resources to create an alternative route to achieving goals, we find strength and resolve to move forward in life. Yes,making lemonade out of lemons is what it takes to succeed in every aspect of life.

Marie Curie comes to mind when I think of this statement. Here was a bright, young woman with high aspirations, and a life path destined for greatness. Even when she was denied admission to a regular university (because she was a female), she made lemonade out of lemons and worked as a teacher while she gained an underground education through the “Floating University.” Imagine had Marie allowed this roadblock to stop her from attaining her education…she would have simply faded into history as just another Polish citizen. She demonstrated that her life force was much stronger than life itself, and went on to not only becoming the only woman to win two Nobel Prizes, but the first person to win or share two Nobel Prizes in the field of science.

Of course Marie Curie is not the only individual in history who made lemonade out of lemons. Another young man from Tupelo, Mississippi was born in a small, two-room house. He was harassed during school by his classmates, and suffered from a stuttering speech. Later, he grew up in public housing; and fellow students didn’t recognize him as anyone special, nor did they think he’d ever amount to much in life. The young man of whom I speak is none other than the late, great Elvis Presley. He could’ve listened to all the folks who made fun of him, or he could have allowed his impoverished life to bring him down — but he didn’t. And, that made all the difference.

Are you ready to make lemonade out of lemons? Life will throw some strange things our way, but when we take what we have and create a life worth living, and a life full of opportunity, we can transform destiny and manifest success in the most unlikely places.

When I look back at being two and a half years old staring out into the ocean, watching my brothers and cousins playing, I see contentment in a child’s eye. It looks like I decided to take a break and to observe how they do things. You see even as a child I loved to watch and study people. Knowing me I was probably getting messages and did not yet learn how to communicate them properly.

In that moment, I was happy and content breathing in from my core a deep sigh of relief that life was good. In that moment I had it all. Can you remember a time in your life when you were simply “ being” in the moment and all was good?

I might have even been a little pooped! Playing all day can be hard work! Some how I knew, even back then, as I know today, I am going to leave a powerful mark on society because I am helping to make a difference in the everyday lives of people like you.

Before anyone can be a good role model for another, it is imperative to be a good role model for yourself.
